What if Kennedy Survived Dallas?

Through improvised words and re-purposed images, this multimedia short film is presented as a simulated “Roundtable” from a Sunday morning news show in a parallel world where JFK lived on past Dallas, fought for re-election and then battled through a political crisis. In this video, you’ll be listening to guests on a 2013 talk show discussing JFK’s legacy as they know it in their alternate history.

The film was written, produced and directed by author Bryce Zabel. Edd Hall recorded and edited the audio; Robert Anglim edited the video. The graphic images come from Lynda Karr. The actor voices include Edd Hall as Peter DuBose, Jackie Zabel as Cynthia Freeman, Eric Estrin as Jonathan Berkowitz and Bryce Zabel as historian Bryan Hitch.

“Plausible development, building from what we know about what really did go on, and a whacking good story… Surrounded by Enemies delivers on both, big-time. So hold on to your hats, folks. You’re in for quite a ride.”

-Harry Turtledove, author, How Few Remain, World War, Guns of the South
